I'm a full-stack developer who works across the whole stack. On the backend that means Node.js and Express services, REST and GraphQL APIs, authentication, and data in PostgreSQL, MongoDB and DynamoDB. On the frontend, React and Next.js. I deploy on AWS, and I'm an AWS Certified Developer.

Before this, I spent four years at a data analytics firm, where I started as a backend developer and was promoted to Team Lead. I built Python and SQL pipelines, Power BI dashboards and Django REST APIs for 15 to 20 international clients, and was named Best Employee two years in a row. That work taught me to think about data first: how it flows, where it breaks, and who depends on it.

Today I'm a Full-Stack Developer at Infosoft Solutions, moving between client projects. Next.js for smaller builds, Node.js microservices for the larger ones.

The other half of me writes. I've run TopBestMovie.com for more than five years, and this site is where I keep essays that don't fit anywhere else: on films, on the internet, and on the person I'm still becoming.

Four years leading an analytics team gave me a habit most developers pick up late: thinking about data from day one. I've built Python ETL pipelines, optimized SQL for large datasets, designed PostgreSQL schemas, and delivered Power BI dashboards for executive reporting.

I build backend systems with Node.js and Express: microservices, REST and GraphQL APIs, real-time features with WebSockets, and secure authentication with JWT and role-based access. Data lives in PostgreSQL, MongoDB or DynamoDB, and services run on AWS, from Lambda and API Gateway to EC2 and Elastic Beanstalk. Before Node.js, I built the same kinds of systems with Django REST Framework.

Backend Developer (Promoted to Team Lead)

Promoted to Team Lead managing a team of analysts delivering analytics solutions for international clients. Built automated data pipelines using Python, Pandas, and SQL, transforming large survey datasets into structured analytics systems. Designed PostgreSQL schemas and developed REST APIs using Django REST Framework to expose data securely for client platforms. Led analytics projects that contributed to 31% growth in new client acquisition and received Best Employee recognition for two consecutive years.
